Warm Marshmallow Dip with Fruit Skewers

  • 250 g (8 oz) mixed fruit, such as small strawberries, bananas, cherries and raspberries
  • 250 g (8 oz) pink and white marshmallows
  • 100 ml (3 1/2 fl oz) single cream
  • Prepare the fruit if necessary, by hulling the strawberries, slicing the bananas into bite-sized pieces and pitting the cherries. Thread the fruit on to short bamboo skewers.
  • Heat the marshmallows and cream in a nonstick saucepan over a low heat, stirring continuously, until the marshmallows have melted. Pour into a warm bowl and serve with the fruit skewers for dipping.
