Meals and Courses

  • 2 large flour tortillas or flatbreads
  • 4 tablespoons shop-bought tomato pasta sauce
  • 100 g (3½ oz) spicy salami slices
  • 150 g (5 oz) mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano leaves, plus extra to garnish
  • salt and black pepper

Lay the tortillas or flatbreads on 2 large baking sheets. Top each with half the pasta sauce, spreading it up to the edge. Arrange half the salami and mozzarella slices and oregano leaves over the top.

Bake in a preheated oven, 200°C (400°F), Gas Mark 6, for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. Serve garnished with extra oregano leaves.
