  • 6 tablespoons chocolate spread or good-quality jam
  • 18 plain biscuits, such as butter biscuits or shortbread
  • 50 g (2 oz) mini marshmallows
  • mixture of small sweeties, to decorate
  • Spread about 1 teaspoon of the chocolate spread or jam over 9 of the biscuits and top with the mini marshmallows.
  • Slide under a preheated low grill for 1–2 minutes until the marshmallows are beginning to turn golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  • Meanwhile, spread the remaining chocolate spread or jam over the remaining biscuits and decorate with the sweeties.
