Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 400 g (13 oz) strawberries
  • 750 ml (1¼ pints) ice-cold water
  • 300 ml (½ pint) low-fat live natural yogurt
  • 25 g (1 oz) golden caster sugar
  • few drops of rosewater
  • coarsely ground black pepper, to serve

Hull and roughly chop the strawberries. Put the strawberries in a food processor or blender with half the water and process until smooth.

Add the yogurt, sugar, rosewater and the remaining water and process again until smooth and frothy.

Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses, sprinkle with black pepper and serve immediately.
