Strawberry Kebabs with Ice Cream

  • 500 g (1 lb) strawberries, washed but unhulled
  • 500 ml (17 fl oz) carton luxury ice cream (such as vanilla, strawberry or chocolate)

Soak 8 bamboo skewers in cold water for 30 minutes. Thread the strawberries on to the skewers and cook on a hot barbecue for 3–4 minutes, turning frequently.

Meanwhile, spoon scoops of luxury ice cream into 4 serving dishes. Spoon the griddled strawberries on top and serve.
