Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 50 g (2 oz) green pepper
  • 50 g (2 oz) celery
  • 25 g (1 oz) spinach
  • 100 g (3½ oz) cucumber
  • 100 g (3½ oz) tomatoes, plus extra to serve (optional)
  • salt and pepper
  • ice cubes (optional)

Core and deseed the pepper. Trim the celery and cut it into 5 cm (2 inch) lengths. Juice the spinach, cucumber and tomatoes with the pepper and celery. Season the juice to taste with salt and pepper.

Pour the juice into a glass over ice, if using, decorate with tomato quarters, if liked, and serve immediately.
