Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 250 g (8 oz) cantaloupe melon
  • 500 g (1 lb) watermelon
  • 50 g (2 oz) spinach
  • 2 cm (¾ inch) piece fresh root ginger
  • 2–3 ice cubes
  • grated nutmeg, to sprinkle

Peel both melons as close to the skin as possible. Juice the melons with the spinach and ginger.

Transfer the juice to a food processor or blender, add a handful of ice cubes and process for 10 seconds.

Serve in a glass, sprinkled with nutmeg.
