Smoked Trout, Cucumber and Radish Salad

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fromage frais
  • lemon juice, to taste
  • 125 g (4 oz) skinless smoked trout fillets, broken into large flakes
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 6 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 50 g (2 oz) watercress
  • pepper
  • toasted country-style bread, to serve
  • Mix together the mayonnaise and fromage frais with lemon juice to taste and season well with pepper.
  • Arrange the trout, cucumber, radishes and watercress on a serving plates. Drizzle over the mayonnaise mixture and serve with plenty of toasted country-style bread.
