Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • ice cubes, plus extra to serve
  • 3 measures whisky
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • few drops Pernod
  • lime wedges, to decorate

Put 8–10 ice cubes, the whisky, lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg whites and Pernod into a cocktail shaker and shake extremely well.

Strain into 2 old-fashioned glasses, add some more ice and serve with lime wedges.
