Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 75 g (3 oz) grapefruit
  • 125 g (4 oz) lettuce
  • 75 g (3 oz) celery
  • 50 g (2 oz) pear
  • ice cubes (optional)

Peel the grapefruit and divide it into segments. Separate the lettuce into leaves. Trim the celery and cut it into 5 cm (2 inch) lengths. Quarter the pear. Juice the grapefruit with the lettuce, celery and pear.

Pour the juice into a glass over ice, if using, and serve immediately.
