Meals and Courses

  • 200 g (7 oz) plain tortilla chips
  • 200 g (7 oz) ready-made fresh tomato salsa
  • 400 g (13 oz) can mixed beans, drained and rinsed
  • 200 g (7 oz) jar sliced green jalapeños, drained
  • 125 g (4 oz) mozzarella cheese, grated
  • soured cream
  • ready-made guacamole

Place the tortilla chips in a shallow ovenproof dish. Spoon over the salsa, followed by the mixed beans, then scatter over the jalapeños and cheese.

Cook under a preheated hot grill for 3–4 minutes until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately with soured cream and guacamole.
