Meals and Courses

  • 400 g (13 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon tahini paste
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 4 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon rose harissa paste, plus extra to drizzle
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • flat breads, to serve

Place all the ingredients in a food processor, reserving a few chickpeas for garnish, and blend to a smooth paste. If the consistency is too thick, add a little warm water.

Season to taste, transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with the reserved chickpeas and a drizzle of extra harissa. Serve with warmed flat breads.
