Mango, Apple & Mint Chutney

  • 1 green mango, peeled, stoned and roughly chopped
  • 1 small apple, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon mild chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon soft brown sugar
  • 150 ml (¼ pint) water

Put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender and process until smooth.

Transfer the mixture to a small serving dish, cover and chill until required. The chutney will keep for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
