Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 3 kiwifruit, about 225 g (7½ oz) in total
  • 2 cm (¾ inch) piece fresh root ginger
  • 1 apple, about 100 g (3½ oz)
  • ice cubes (optional)
  • 300 ml (½ pint) sparkling water

Peel the kiwifruit and ginger. Juice the kiwifruit with the ginger and apple.

Pour the juice into a tall glass over ice, if desired, top up with sparkling water and serve immediately.
