Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 1 orange, about 160 g (5½ oz)
  • 1 beetroot, about 125 g (4 oz)
  • 1 apple, about 125 g (4 oz)
  • ice cubes

Grate the rind of the orange onto a plate. Roughly peel the orange and cut into wedges. Rub the rim of a glass with a wedge of orange, then dip the rim of the glass into the grated orange rind to coat the rim.

Juice together the orange wedges, beetroot and apple.

Pour the juice into the prepared glass over ice and serve immediately.
