Special Diet

  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 250 g (8 oz) haloumi cheese, cut into chunks
  • salt and pepper

Combine the oil, lemon juice and paprika in a small bowl and season the mixture with salt and pepper.

Heat a heavy-based frying pan until hot, then add the haloumi and toss over a medium heat until golden and starting to soften. Transfer immediately to a plate, drizzle over the paprika oil and serve with cocktail sticks to spike the haloumi.
