Grilled Red Mullet with Yogurt Dill Sauce

  • 4 red mullet fillets, about 150 g (5 oz) each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons natural yogurt
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • handful of dill, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • grilled courgettes, to serve
  • Season the fish fillets, then rub all over with 1 tablespoon of the oil. Cook in griddle pan over a high heat for 5 minutes. Turn over and cook for a further 3–5 minutes until just cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, mix together the remaining oil, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic and dill, then season.
  • Spoon the sauce over the fish and serve with grilled courgettes.
