2 dessert apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
2 pears, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
200 g (7 oz) fresh or frozen blackberries
2 tablespoons orange juice
100 g (3 1/2 oz) light soft brown sugar
75 g (3 oz) butter, softened
125 g (4 oz) plain flour
3 tablespoons oats
1 teaspoon ground mixed spice
2 tablespoons honey
250 ml (8 fl oz) Greek yogurt
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F), Gas Mark 6. Place the fruit in a large saucepan with the orange juice and one-quarter of the sugar, and warm over a medium heat for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit begins to soften.
Meanwhile, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs, and stir in the remaining sugar, the oats and half the mixed spice.
Tip the fruit into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle over the crumble topping. Cook in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden.
While the crumble is in the oven, stir the honey and remaining mixed spice into the yogurt, and chill until required. Serve the crumble hot with the spiced yogurt.
