Diced Beef & Rice with Onions

  • 400 g (13 oz) fillet or rump beef steak
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 onions, chopped
  • 400 g (13 oz) cooked long-grain rice
  • pinch of paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Chop the beef into small cubes. Sprinkle the soy sauce over the beef and mix in.

Heat the oil in a nonstick saucepan. Stir-fry the beef then season and set aside in a warm place.

Brown the chopped onions in the pan, add the cooked rice, sprinkle with the paprika and cook for a few minutes, stirring with a spatula.

Serve very hot with the cubed beef.
