Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime
  • 30 g (1¼ oz) spinach
  • 2 celery sticks, plus extra to decorate
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 25 g (1 oz) parsley
  • 1 teaspoon green powder (such as spirulina, wheatgrass or chlorella)
  • salt and pepper

Peel and stone the avocado. Roughly peel the lime. Juice the lime with the spinach.

Transfer the avocado and the juice to a food processor or blender, add the remaining ingredients and enough water to just cover, and process until smooth. Season the smoothie to taste with salt and pepper and process again.

Pour the smoothie into 2 glasses, add a trimmed celery stick to each glass and serve immediately.
