Chocolate Fondue with a Selection of Dippers

  • 400 g (13 oz) dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
  • 25 g (1 oz) unsalted butter
  • 150 ml (1/4 pint) double cream
  • 50 ml (2 fl oz) milk
  • strawberries and marshmallows, for dipping
  • In a small saucepan gently heat the chocolate, butter, cream and milk, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is glossy and smooth. Transfer to a warmed bowl or fondue pot.
  • Thread 1 or 2 strawberries and marshmallows on to skewers, dip into the dark chocolate fondue and eat straight away.
