  • 175 ml (6 fl oz) strawberry liqueur (such as fraises des bois), chilled
  • 1 bottle non-vintage dry Champagne or dry sparkling white wine, chilled
  • 125 g (4 oz) strawberries, sliced

Pour the liqueur into a large jug. Gradually add the Champagne or sparkling wine, stirring very gently so as not to lose the bubbles.

Divide the strawberry slices among individual Champagne flutes and top up with the strawberry-flavoured Champagne. Serve at once.
