Meals and Courses

  • 2 bananas
  • 300 ml (½ pt) milk
  • 4 tablespoons natural fromage frais
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 50 g (2 oz) hot oat cereal
  • banana slices
  • malt loaf, cut into chunks

Place the bananas in a food processor with the milk, fromage frais and maple syrup and blend until smooth. Add the oat cereal and whiz again to thicken. Pour into 2 large glasses.

Arrange banana slices and chunks of malt loaf on 2 cocktail sticks and balance them across the top of the glasses, to serve.
