Smoothie, Cocktail and Juice

  • 2.5 cm (1 inch) piece fresh root ginger, roughly chopped, plus extra to serve (optional)
  • 250 g (8 oz) blueberries
  • 125 g (4 oz) grapefruit
  • 250 g (8 oz) apples
  • ice cubes (optional)

Peel and roughly chop the ginger. Juice the blueberries, grapefruit and apple with the ginger.

Pour the juice into a glass over ice, if using, decorate with thin slices of ginger, if liked, and serve immediately.
